From a protective ceramic shield to a full two-step machine correction — we restore your paint's clarity and lock in the results with a professional ceramic coating.
Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections from a vehicle's clear coat using machine polishing. Over time, your car's paint accumulates swirl marks from improper washing, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, and haze. Paint correction uses abrasive compounds and polishing pads to carefully level the clear coat — removing the damaged layer and revealing the deep, glossy paint underneath. The result is a showroom-level finish that cannot be achieved with waxes or spray sealants alone.
Cutting (compounding) uses a more aggressive abrasive to remove deeper defects like scratches, heavy swirls, and oxidation. It removes more clear coat per pass, so it takes skill to avoid burning through. Polishing uses a finer abrasive to refine the surface after cutting — removing any micro-marring or haze left behind and bringing out true gloss. A 2-step correction does both: cut first, polish second. A 1-step correction uses a medium compound that cuts and polishes simultaneously — effective for lighter defects but not as thorough as a full 2-step.
Ceramic coating after paint correction locks in the results. Once you've removed the defects from the clear coat, you want to protect that corrected surface for as long as possible. Ceramic coatings bond chemically to the paint and create a hard, hydrophobic layer that resists UV damage, oxidation, light scratches, water spots, and chemical stains. Without a coating, corrected paint is vulnerable and will begin collecting new defects within weeks. With a ceramic coating, your corrected paint stays protected and easy to maintain for 1–3 years depending on the tier.
All tiers include an exterior wash and clay bar treatment. Pricing varies by vehicle size and paint condition.
Exterior Hand Wash & Dry
A thorough hand wash removes loose dirt and grime before any paint work begins. This ensures no contaminants scratch the surface during the decontamination process.
Clay Bar Treatment
A professional clay bar is used to decontaminate the paint surface, pulling out embedded brake dust, industrial fallout, tree sap, and road grime. The result is a silky-smooth surface ready for protection.
Ceramic Coating Application
A professional-grade ceramic coating is applied to the fully decontaminated surface. This liquid polymer bonds chemically to the factory paint, creating a semi-permanent hydrophobic shell that repels water, UV rays, dirt, and light chemical contaminants for 1–2 years.
Exterior Hand Wash & Dry
A meticulous hand wash and rinse removes all surface debris before correction begins. This step is critical — any debris left on the paint during machine polishing can cause additional scratches.
Clay Bar Treatment
The clay bar decontamination step removes all bonded surface contaminants, leaving the paint silky smooth and properly prepared for polishing. Without this step, polishing would drag contaminants across the paint.
1-Step Machine Polish
A single-stage machine polish using a medium-cut compound is used to reduce light swirl marks, water spots, light scratches, and oxidation. This process levels the clear coat to remove a thin layer of damaged paint, revealing the fresh, reflective layer underneath.
Ceramic Coating Application
Once the paint is corrected and wiped down with a panel wipe, a professional ceramic coating is applied. The bond between the freshly corrected paint and the coating is extremely strong — providing 2–3 years of hydrophobic protection, UV resistance, and self-cleaning properties.
Exterior Hand Wash & Dry
An in-depth pre-wash, foam cannon treatment, and hand wash ensure every surface is completely free of debris before correction. Any contamination left during this stage risks marring the paint during machine work.
Clay Bar Treatment
Full clay bar decontamination is performed across every painted panel. This pulls out years of bonded contamination that cannot be removed by washing alone — it is essential before any machine polishing.
Step 1 — Cutting (Heavy Correction)
A cutting pad and compound are used with a dual-action or rotary polisher to aggressively level the clear coat. This step removes deeper scratches, heavy swirl marks, oxidation, and paint transfer. It requires careful technique — removing too much clear coat will damage the paint.
Step 2 — Polishing (Refining)
After cutting, a soft polishing pad and fine polish are used to refine the surface and remove any haze or micro-marring left by the cutting stage. This step brings out maximum gloss and clarity, leaving the paint looking like glass before the coating goes on.
Ceramic Coating Application
With the paint fully corrected and wiped clean with a panel wipe, a premium ceramic coating is applied panel by panel. This is the most durable result possible — corrected paint + ceramic lasts up to 3 years and provides the deepest gloss, strongest hydrophobic barrier, and maximum UV protection available without a permanent paint protection film.
* All pricing starts at the base rate listed. Final price is based on vehicle size (coupe, sedan, compact SUV, full size SUV, single cab truck, full size truck, minivan, full size van) and paint condition. Heavily neglected paint may require additional time and correction passes. A proper assessment will be done before work begins.
